Gamawa federal constituency in Bauchi state, has collectively disassociates self from its member Hon.Mohammed Garba Gololo in connection to allegation level against him for allegedly attempting to rape a minor in a hotel in the United States of America.

This was just as the constituents have opined for a full scale investigations into the allegations and suggest a stiffer penalty against the suspected law-makers, if find guilty of the offence. Alhaji Danladi Maigari Gamawa, who doubles as the Bauchi state youths chairman, New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) said, the allege behaviour of Hon. Gololo appears to ridicule the entire constituents wherewithal an attempt to tarnish the nascent democracy.

He expressed regret that Gololo’s name featured as the most attempted rapist while in a special assignment to US and same broadcasted in BBC Hausa service, where he also reacted in defending self. Maigari added that the entire Gamawa was shock to have heard that their representative in the lower house was among the three suspected law-makers in connection to rape in the US.

The youth’s leader urged the federal government to without any further delay commence a full scale investigation on the rape allegation to unravel the shameful act. He however opined for a stiffer penalty on Nigerians regardless of their status to curtail future sex scandal describing the act as a global disgrace. Similarly, Maugari had charge Gamawa constituents to always vote credible people to public offices regarding respect to religious institutions.
