It has been reported that the Catalan coach has made his mind up and will leave the German club, with a number of English clubs expected to fight it out for his signature.Josep Guardiola has decided to leave his post as Bayern Munich coach at the end of the season, according to Spanish newspaper MARCA.
The Catalan coach has been strongly linked with a move to England next summer, with both Manchester City and Manchester United reported to be interested in appointing him.
Speaking on Tuesday, Guardiola revealed he would confirm his plans for the future next week.
His contract with Bayern expires in June, but he is yet to commit to a new deal with the German club despite their desire to get him tied down.
“I have no answer at the moment – next week you will know the answer,” he said when asked about his next move.
MARCA say the 44-year-old’s decision is final, adding that he feels to stay at the Allianz Arena any longer would be detrimental to both himself and to the club.
