Didier Drogba is in talks to make a sensational return to Chelsea, according to France Football.

The former Blues striker was in attendance at Stamford Bridge as he watched the Premier League champions beat Sunderland alongside owner Roman Abramovich and new caretaker manager Guus Hiddink.

And Abramovich wants the Ivorian to return to west London and act as an assistant to Hiddink, much in the same way Ray Wilkins did during the Dutchman’s first spell in 2009.
