Rio Olympics: Brazil 6-0 Honduras – Neymar breaks Olympic world record as Brazil cruise to final

Neymar scored after 15 seconds at the Maracana Stadium on Wednesday evening as Brazil went on to thrash Honduras 6-0 in the Olympic semi-final in Rio de Janeiro.

New Manchester City signing Gabriel Jesus, 19, then netted in the 26th and 35th minutes as hosts Brazil took an unassailable 3-0 lead into half-time.

Paris Saint-Germain defender Marquinhos then landed a goal of his own for Brazil in the 51st minute and No 7 Luan made it a rout after a brilliant team move from Rogerio Micale’s men in the 79th minute.

Barcelona star Neymar got a brace of his own, converting a penalty after Luan was fouled in added time.
