REVEALED: RIVERS GUBER: WIKE PROCURES ODILI FOR NOCTURNAL REACH OUT TO RETIRED JUSTICES

by nadum 3 Dec , 2015

A top security source who craves anonymity has revealed the desperate bid of Nyesom Wike to compromise the judiciary by recruiting former Governor of Rivers State, Sir Dr. Peter Odili to nocturnally reach out to retired justices of the Court of Appeal and Supreme Court of Nigeria as a further conduit to serving members of the Bench by financially inducing them to give the embattled Governor of Rivers State a favorable verdict in the Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court.

The multi-billion naira deal which was hatched by Nyesom Wike and Sir Dr. Peter Odili somewhere in Asokoro, Abuja, in the house of a very influential Nigerian sympathetic to the Governor of Rivers State will see the former Governor use his contacts within the judiciary to reach out to retired Justices and make mouth-watering offers to them to help talk to their junior members of the Bench to play ball and have their financial security cemented by inducing them with obscene amounts of money to pervert the cause of Justice in the court of Appeal and the Supreme Court when Wike’s election matter comes before them.

Nyesom Wike has told Sir Dr Peter Odili that he doesn’t need to waste time trying to secure the three justices on the Rivers Governorship Appeal panel, but to concentrate on only two justices who will be willing to play game and give a majority decision in his appeal that comes up for hearing today.

With 5 billion naira given to him, and already excited about how much money is in for him, Dr Peter Odili late last week meet with a retired Justice resident in Gwarinpa, Abuja, where strategy for the reach out was fine tuned.

Odili, hitherto rendered irrelevant in Rivers politics, is banking on this job to come back into reckoning as the godfather who stepped in when it matters most to save Nyesom Wike from being sacked by the court.

Since the Justice Suleiman Ambrosa led Rivers Governorship Tribunal sitting in Apo, Abuja delivered its verdict on the 24th of October, 2014, nullifying the election of 11th of April, 2015 that brought him to power, Nyesom Wike has been gallivanting up and down looking for avenues to halt the outstretched hands of the law against him.

The Governor who reacted to the tribunal verdict by saying that there was a judicial gang up against him has vowed to pay any cost in order to secure his seat.

The Deal with Sir Dr. Peter Odili, if not immediately nipped in the bud by appropriate security agencies, is capable of buying Nyesom Wike a corrupt judgement that will permanently put a seal on the disenfranchisement Rivers people suffered on the 11th of April, 2015.
