The Independent National Electoral Commission INEC has approved the use of continuous accreditation and voting for pending court-ordered re-run elections on a pilot basis.This was contained in a statement made available to news men in Abuja yesterday by the Secretary to the Commission, Mrs Augusta C. Ogakwu.

According to the statement, INEC said that  the decision was taken following consultations with major stakeholders and in the public interest.

The Commission also approved that in line with the new procedure, voting at the pending re-run elections shall commence at 8.00 am and close at 2.00 pm.
