The horrifying photos of the incident released show the naked high school teacher in Guangxi province, China, trying to rape a female student on campus.

The incident, according to the People’s Daily Online, occurred around noon time on March 28 at Taiping High School in Lingshan County, China.

Reports said other teachers immediately intervened and managed to free the student from the 30-year-old male teacher, surnamed Huo, while the female student was said to suffer no injuries.

In the photographs, the naked man can be seen grabbing hold of the girl from behind and pushing her against a wall in broad daylight.

The Publicity Department of Lingshan County, is a statement released confirming the incident, said Hu, who works in the laboratories of the school, has a suspected mental illness.

The statement said the teacher had received treatment in 2011 for psycotic episodes, however, after two years he was declared fit to return to work.

It said the school chose to base Huo in the laboratory and said he would not be allowed to teach classes.

“For the past five years he has performed well in his role,” the statement said.

After the incident, reports said the faculty immediately called the police and informed the man’s family who took him to the hospital for treatment.

According to the official statement, the female student was not harmed in the ordeal, and the city’s Public Security Bureau are investigating the incident.
