by nadum 31 Dec , 2015

Governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Rivers State, Dr. Dakuku Adol Peterside, has declared that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) will disappear from the state in the next 31 days.Peterside made declaration yesterday in Port Harcourt while speaking at special thanksgiving service organised by the APC to mark his birthday and that of his running-mate, Hon. Honourable Asita.

He said, “I am telling you today  that we will reclaim our stolen mandate, believe me, in the next 31 days tsunami will visit Rivers State PDP. We are not afraid if there is a re-run today Rivers State we look out for the best, they will look out for change in infrastructure, development and change in empowerment.

“If you put the candidates of the major political parties and their manifestos side by side, definitely people will go with for a man of character, a reliable candidate that can realize the dream of our founding fathers.

“People will also look out how our team is like, if we have a team that is populated with militants and killers they will go for team that has people with good character, team that can make Rivers people to be a stakeholder in the governance of the state.

“So, I’ m confident that we are going to win any re-run, we have proven our self to be men of character, and a team that fears God. We are the best candidates; I have said it before that there would be no manipulation.”

Earlier in his sermon at the event, the guest preacher, Rev. George Izunwa, charged  politicians to always believe that God has the final say in every situation, reminding the celebrants to know that pressure is mixed with faith.

Izunwa, who is the general overseer of Gateway International Church, Port Harcourt, advised those listening under his voice not to give up under pressure but to learn how to go to God and enter covenant with Him.

Preaching on the theme, “Better under Pressure”, the cleric called on Peterside and his running mate Asita to prepare to celebrate their victory over pressure.
