Words are not enough to describe the fortune of the famous bread seller turned model Olajumoke Orisaguna, as Stanbic IBTC on Thursday, February 18, awarded her children scholarships.
The unveiling which took place at Stanbic IBTC head office in Walter Carrington, Victoria Island, Lagos was attended by Binta Max Gbinije (Chief Executive Stanbic IBTC trustees Limited), Nkiru Olumide-Ojo (Head Marketing and Communications), Ame Okwudi (Manager Events and CSI, Stanbic IBTC), celebrity photographer TY Bello and Olajumoke’s husband, Sunday Orisaguna.
Speaking at the event TY Bello describes Olajumoke Orisaguna’s success as a divine intervention. She said: “This is a story of you taking little steps in the right direction. I must say this whole step has blown my mind and I feel much honored by what Olajumoke has turned out to be and all you have done for her. You can easily throw money at her for this great success but you have decided to look into her future and that of her children. I say thank you.”
Also, speaking on why Olajumoke was chosen, the Head of Marketing and Communications Nkiru Olumide-Ojo disclosed that: “After listening to Jumoke’s story, Stanbic IBTC thought of a way of awarding Olajumoke and her family with an everlasting gift and we decided to award her children Grace Ayomide Orisaguna and Precious Oluwasemilore Orisaguna scholarships under the Stanbic IBTC Education Trust Fund, up to their university level.”
