Nollywood actress Henrietta Kosoko, wife of veteran actor, Jide Kosoko is dead. She died on Monday morning.

Henrietta, who only last week celebrated her 53rd birthday, was said to have slumped at home and was rushed to the hospital where she was said to have died.

Married to veteran actor and former president of the Association of Nigerian Theatre Arts Practitioners (ANTP) Jide Kosoko, a close family source who spoke under the condition of anonymity disclosed that before her demise, she  battled diabetes for a while, causing her sugar level to fluctuate.

Henrietta, who trained as a caterer, started acting in church before going on to do stage plays. However, she once revealed that her husband gave her the needed nudge to take her acting career to a professional level.

Before meeting Jide Kosoko, she was in a marriage that produced a set of twins.
