Victor Moses scored his second goal for Chelsea in as many games on Saturday as the Blues crushed newly promoted Burnley 3-0 at Stamford Bridge.
The Nigerian international, who scored last Tuesday in the League Cup tie against Bristol Rovers, was again on hand to help Chelsea continue their perfect start to the season.
Moses was brought in as substitute, but he sealed the comprehensive win for Antonio Conte with the last goal of the encounter.
Saturday’s feat was the first time in four years that Moses would score in the Premier League for Chelsea. His last strike was against Swansea City on November 3, 2012.
While Moses is enjoying a resurgence in his Chelsea career, it was not the same for his compatriot, Odion Ighalo, and Isaac Success who were beaten 3-1 at home by Arsenal.
It was a debut outing for Success in the Premier League, and the 19-year-old will want to forget Saturday’s loss in a hurry.
Elsewhere, Super Eagles dashing winger, Ahmed Musa, came off the bench to help Leicester City beat Swansea City 2-1.
It was the first win of the season for the defending champions, who suffered a shock loss in the season opener away to Hull City before playing out a barren draw against Arsenal last weekend.
In the final game of the Premier League on Saturday, Hull City put up another brave display yet again but a late strike from teenage sensation, Marcus Rashford saw them losing 0-1 to Manchester United.
