The civil society organization today staged a peaceful protest in Port Harcourt the state capital of Rivers.
The demonstrators, drawn from different part of the state donned black T-shirts in honour of Bar. Ken Atsuwete who was gruesomely murdered by unknown gunmen in Aluu community of the state.
The T-shirts were emblazoned with messages like “ONE MURDER TOO MANY” and “END THE KILLINGS IN RIVERS STATE”.
They marched with placards and other paraphernalia through city streets, stopping at the Police headquarters of Rivers state demanding for justice and thorough investigation to be carried out to find And and bring to book those behind the assassination.
Mrs. Ibim seminitari who briefed newsmen shortly after a meeting with the Rivers police CP had this to say.
