Veteran Yoruba and Nollywood actor, Olumide Bakare, is critically sick. It was learnt that the actor had been, for a while now, admitted at the University Teaching Hospital (UCH), Ibadan.
A Facebook post by Babajide Moronfolu, an ace radio/TV presenter and voice-over artiste, also revealed that veteran actor, Olumide Bakere, who has been on admission at UCH, Ibadan, will need some money to stay alive.
The post reads: ‘This is Olumide Bakare on his sick bed at UCH, Ibadan diagnosed of heart/Lungs disease, in his words to me ” Jide Omo Moronfolu, agbara mi o ka mo o, ba mi be a won Omo Nigeria mi won ran mi lowo pelu owo ati adura” Orisun TV has taken the lead, pls join in raising funds for this great fantastic actor, Chief Koko of Koko close,Olumide Bakare. The Ibadan-based actor and former NTA staff, who is fondly called Chief Koko on the heels of his role in a TV series, ‘Koko Close’ back in the days, has been battling ill-health since 2013.
