Chelsea and PSG have gone head-to-head in each of the last two editions of the tournament with Mourinho in the dug-out for the Premier League side for both. The west London club have remained unbeaten since Guus Hiddink replaced Mourinho in December but Zlatan Ibrahimovic believes the fixtures loses some of its magic in his absence.
‘I think everybody will miss Mourinho in the game. But I believe he will be back soon in football, and if you are a little patient you will soon see him managing another club.
‘Am I surprised with the sacking? I don’t know. Everything depends on the results and that is the worst part of football. ‘When you don’t do well, you get punished, and it’s more with the coaches. We don’t get fired like the coaches do!’
