Chibok girls: Six dead, others still in Sambisa Forest – Rescued teenager

One of the missing Chibok schoolgirls, Amina Nkeki Ali, who was found in the Sambisa Forest close to Nigeria’s border with Cameroon on Tuesday, has reportedly said six of the Chibok girls died in captivity.

Amina who was found while breastfeeding a baby, reportedly said all of them were still in Sambisa forest but that six were already dead.

The rescued teenager added that they were well secured and protected from the Nigerian army.

Amina’s uncle, Yakubu Nkeki, told The Associate Press that the young girl was 17-years-old when she was abducted with more than 200 other girls on April 14, 2014.

Amina who has been talking to troops at Damboa after confirming she was from Chibok Community, is being awaited by the Borno State Governor who will receive her, a government source told DAILY POST.

The development was further confirmed by activists and Chairman of Chibok Community(Abuja), Tsambido Hosea Abana, who said it is true that one of the abducted Chibok girls – Amina Ali Nkek, was found by the vigilante group yesterday in Kulakaisa area, at the fringes of Sambisa Forest.
